Slavonian Grebe

Although a large percentage of my photographs are of birds I would certainly regard myself as a photographer or image creator as opposed to a bird watcher. My knowledge of birds and wildlife in general is increasing through my experiences with them but it remains limited and I use them mainly as subjects for my photography.

The following images are a case in point, being taken without knowing what I was actually photographing. It wasn't until I arrived home and began researching that I discovered they were of a Slavonian Grebe that had been seen frequently in that location over the past few weeks.
