Model Railways

I have held an interest in model railways for more years than I care to remember, my first purchase of an OO gauge steam locomotive being way back in the early 1980s. This led to a brief period of adding to my collection until a change of circumstances resulted in my entire collection being sold off without me ever having constructed an actual layout.

A few years passed by until the model railway bug bit me once again and I was finally able to construct the layout that had thus far eluded me. I then discovered that I could combine my interest in model railways with that of photography and I was able to add a greater element of realism to photographs of my model railway layout using Photoshop to add a realistic sky and some diesel exhaust effects that would otherwise not have been possible.
